Decision on Asian Tour venue soon

KARACHI, Nov 14: Final decision pertaining to finalising the venue for the next year’s Asian Tour will be taken by the end of this week by the APGA board.

Douglas White, director events, Asian Tour, who was on his second visit to Pakistan, inspected facilities at the Karachi Golf Club and Arabian Sea Country Club.

He was accompanied by secretary Pakistan Golf Federation Taimur Hassan.

White, who left for Singapore on Tuesday night after a two-day stay in the city, will submit his report to the APGA board which will send their recommendation to the PGF.

Chris Rodgers won the Asian Tour which was revived by Pakistan earlier this year. The 72-hole competition runs from Jan 18 to 21.
