KARACHI, Nov 13: Former world champion Mohammad Yousuf qualified for quarter-finals of the master's event in the World snooker championship at Jordan’s capital Amman on Monday.
According to information received here, Yousuf defeated Paul Bason of New Zealand 64-1, 80-28, 63-28, 58-5 in a one-sided match.
Meanwhile, Naveen Pervani entered the last-16 stage of the main event with a 82-26, 90-0, 80-41, 8-90, 63-32, 64-22 victory over UAE's Mohammad Al-Jokar.—Agencies
