Brothers Aqeel, Jalil in final

ISLAMABAD, Nov 3: Top seed Aqeel Khan will be facing his brother Jalil Khan in the men’s singles final of the Arif Habib Subh-e-Nau National Clay Court Tennis Championships here on Sunday.

Aqeel beat junior player Tanveer Ashiq in the semifinal clash on Friday 6-2, 6-1. In the second semifinal Jalil Khan pulled off an upset by beating second seed Asim Shafik in straight sets winning 6-4, 7-4. In the women’s competition, Sarah Mahboob will face Anoosha Aslam in the final of ladies event.—Agencies
