KARACHI, Nov 3: Six vessels including a passenger ship, Dream, are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Saturday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where five ships, Mol Silver Fern, Y.M. Moon, Maersk Arkansas and Eric G. Gibson to unload and load containers and Calmy Coral to unload and load general cargo were berthed after the departure of four.

The ships which departed included Y.M. Moon, Mol Silver Fern, Al-Marwah, and Shalamar, while Johar, Eric G. Gibson, Maersk Arkansas, Dragonis, Bunga Delima and Corin Thaikos are due to sail out on Saturday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was on the higher side where a total tonnage of 81,440 tons comprising 9,683 tons of export cargo including 1,980 tons of rice and 71,757 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Saturday: Stolt Ami to load ethanol, Dream to load passengers, Marcalabria, Wan Hai-303, Ever Govern and Thor Champion, to unload and load containers.
