KARACHI: Ceramics exhibition

KARACHI, Nov 1: A total of 53 ceramists from Pakistan and across the world will take part in the two-week international exhibition, billed as the Third ASNA Clay Triennial, being organised here in collaboration with the Arts Council of Pakistan from Nov 10.

Besides the international ceramics exhibition, the event includes seminar, workshops and a Kumhar Mela.

ASNA Media Coordinator Annushe Alam said that the exhibition would continue till Nov 24. The ceramics work from India, Malaysia, Northern Ireland, Indonesia, Spain, Lithuania, Finland, The Netherlands, United Kingdom, Canada and Turkey, besides Pakistan would be put on display.

The two-day international art seminar has been scheduled for Nov 11 and 12 at National Museum. The key-note speaker will be renowned ceramist Sheherzade Alam.

Kumhar Bazaar of craft pottery will also be a fascinating event along with the workshops.
