Rauf Siddiqi said that the culture department would extend its full cooperation to arts council and its problems would be solved on priority basis. “Karachi arts council represents not only Sindh but culture of the country across the globe, therefore, there is a dire need to solve its problems,” he added.

The minister was of view that arts council could further be developed and emphasised to upgrade its open air theatre to facilitate visitors. He offered the delegation to take over the charge of Mumtaz Mirza Auditorium for promotion of Sindh culture.
