Man kills wife

SHIKARPUR, Oct 23: A woman was killed by her husband in the Jamal Brohi village near Sultankot taluka in Shikarpur, in what has been termed a karo-kari murder.

Mir Hazar Jafri shot dead his wife Rozyat when she was asleep in the house. Hazar Jafri was suspecting that she had illicit relations with one Sharbat, of the same village. On the complaint of Shah Nawaz Jafri, father of the deceased, Sultankot police registered a case against accused Mir Hazar. The body was brought to the civil hospital for post-mortem.—Correspondent
