Tapal CC in final

KARACHI, Oct 17: Tapal CC qualified for the final of the 10th Danish Trophy Ramazan cricket tournament with a comprehensive 60-run victory over Cantt Sports at the KPI Ground on Tuesday.

Batting first in the first semi-final, Tapal CC scored 163 for four in their 20 overs with seasoned campaigner Mahmood Hamid striking an undefeated 75.

Cantt Sports lost wickets at regular intervals in reply and were eventually dismissed for 103 in 18 overs.

Slow left-armer Kamran Umar was the best of the Tapal CC’s bowlers with figures of three for 13. Mohammad Masroor and Babar Raheem chipped in with two wickets apiece.
