ISLAMABAD: In the Dawn report on Tuesday about Foreign Minister Khurshid Mahmood Kasuri’s talk to journalists in Islamabad on Monday, it was incorrectly reported that former held Kashmir chief minister Farooq Abdullah had visited Pakistan in the context of Kashmir-specific confidence-building measures taken as part of the peace process between Pakistan and India.

Mr Kasuri had actually referred to National Conference leader Omar Abdullah, who visited Pakistan in March to attend a Pugwash-sponsored Kashmir conference, and not Farooq Abdullah, the party chief’s father.
