LAHORE, Oct 14: Former PPP secretary-general Chaudhry Ahmad Mukhtar says the assemblies are on their way out and they will not be there after a few months.

He said this while talking to reporters at an Iftar party hosted by MNA Chaudhry Aitzaz Ahsan.

Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, Qasim Zia, Farzana Raja, Munir Ahmad Khan, Haji Azizur Rehman Chan, Naveed Chaudhry, Faiza Malik, Zakariya Butt and many others also attended.

Ahmad Mukhtar said the crutches on which the present assemblies had depended so far would no longer be in a position to support them.

Qasim Zia said Benazir Bhutto would return to Pakistan immediately after the dissolution of assemblies. —Staff Reporter
