Plan to set up more dispensaries

Bureau Report

HYDERABAD, Oct 14: Jamshoro District Nazim Malik Asad Sikandar has issued directives on Thursday that dispensaries should be established in the far-flung areas of the district and doctors and paramedical staff should be posted there without delay.

He said this while presiding over a meeting of the health department officials of the district at the district council hall.

He said that salaries of all those doctors and paramedical staff should be stopped if they did not resume their duties.

Malik Asad Sikandar said that due to the inefficiency of the district health officers, patients were facing enormous difficulties in all four talukas of the district.

He directed that operation theatres should be set up in all taluka hospitals to ensure this facility to the patients nearest to their homes.
