Bankers win

KARACHI, Oct 13: Promising Asif Mughal smashed 90 runs as NIB Bank beat AKU Faculty & Staff by 20 runs in the second AKU Twenty20 Ramazan Colour-kit cricket tournament at the Sports Centre Ground on Thursday.

Man-of-the-match Asif blasted seven fours and four sixes as bankers scored 197 runs for loss of four wickets.

Shahid Hussain with unbeaten 37 and Zulifiqar Ali (26) were other main scorers for the winners.

Rashid Azeem took two wickets for the AKU.

In reply, AKU managed to score 177 runs. Karim Khan top scored with 41.

Naeem Madni grabbed two wickets for the winners.—PPI
