Rebuilding on time: minister

MIRPUR, Oct 11: Federal Housing and Works Minister Sayed Safwanullah has reiterated the government’s resolve to complete the reconstruction and rehabilitation work in earthquake-stricken areas of Azad Kashmir and the NWFP within the stipulated time.

Speaking at a convention of the Azad Jammu Kashmir Union of Journalists in Rawalpindi on Tuesday night, he said that affected people had been allowed to build their houses in line with the design approved by Erra. He asked journalists to give coverage to reconstruction and rehabilitation activities to encourage victims in their effort to rebuild their lives with determination and high spirit.—APP
