LANDI KOTAL (Khyber Agency), Oct 11: Three people were killed and two injured in fresh clashes between religious groups in Tirah valley of Khyber Agency on Wednesday.

Reports reaching from the area said that an armed group of Ansaarul Islam attacked a bunker of Lashkar-i-Islam in Ster Ghar- Malikdinkhel area. Three Lashkar men were killed in the attack and two supporters of Ansaarul Islam were injured.

Ansaarul Islam alleged that the bunker was used by the Lashkar men for shelling their centre in the locality.

The fresh clashes occurred when the Lashkar Amir resumed its activities in Bara. Many in Bara believed that Mangal Bagh had actually retreated from Tirah after suffering losses in his battle against his opponents.
