Pakistan envoy hosts Iftar in Delhi

NEW DELHI, Oct 10: An Iftar-dinner, hosted by Pakistan High Commission here on Tuesday was attended by senior Kashmiri leaders, diplomats from Muslims countries, men of letters, intellectuals and writers.

Former Chairmen All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Abdul Ghani Bhatt and Maulana Abbas Ansari, Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front, Mohammad Yasin Malik, senior Kashmiri leaders Agha Syed Hasan Badgami and Javed Mir and Converner APHC Jammu region, Sayed Saleem Gilani attended the Iftar.

Pakistan High Commissioner to India Aziz Ahmed Khan, Deputy High Commissioner Afrasiab and Pakistani diplomats warmly received the guests on the occasion.

Former member Parliament, Shahabuddin, Chief of Hamdard Foundation, Mohammad Iqbal, representatives of Jamat-i-Islami Hind, Rafique Qasmi and Ejaz Aslam, Gaddi Nashin of Dargah Hazrat Nizamuddin Aulia, Syed Nazim Ali Nizami, professors from Jamia Millia University, journalists and academicians attended the party.—APP
