PESHAWAR, Oct 7: Interior Minister Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao has said that the development strategy for the current financial year lays emphasis on community-oriented schemes in small villages.

Talking to a delegation from Charsadda here on Saturday, he said the plans envisaged supply of electricity, gas and drinking water, construction of roads and health and education facilities.

The minister said that gas projects worth a billion rupees were being executed in Charsadda.

He assured the delegation, led by Mohammed Ali, that the confidence reposed in the party leadership by people would never be breached.
