CHAMAN, Oct 6: Border guards on Thursday arrested 51 Afghan nationals who had illegally entered Pakistan, an official said.
Maj Allah Noor of the Frontier Corps said that those arrested were not linked to militants. They were taken into custody near Chaman and elsewhere along the border, he said.
“The Afghans did not have documents or permission to enter Pakistan,” the FC official said.
Maj Noor said that the arrested men would face prosecution and might be jailed and fined .—AP
