Hijacked plane passengers in Istanbul
ISTANBUL, Oct 4: The passengers of a Turkish Airlines (THY) plane that was hijacked to Italy were flown to Istanbul on Wednesday morning after the standoff ended peacefully.
The hijacker asked for political asylum in Italy and surrenderd to the Italian police without harming anyone.—AFP
