LAHORE, Oct 3: Jordan has announced a 21-member team to play Asia Cup football qualifiers against Pakistan at Punjab Stadium next week.
Ten officials will also be accompanying the team due to arrive on Monday.
Pakistan, which has no chance to qualify for the Asia Cup after losing four matches, out of a total five played, is likely to include a good number of boys from U-23 side which won gold medal in 10th South Asian Games in Colombo, in August.
The match will also be the first under the newly installed floodlights at Punjab Stadium.
In the first leg of the qualifiers, Jordan defeated Pakistan 3-0 at Amman on Feb 22.
Jordan managed four points from their four outings in Group-C and are third behind UAE (ten points) and Oman (nine points).
