Turkish inflation
ANKARA, Oct 3: Consumer prices in Turkey climbed again in September, rising by 1.29 per cent from the previous month and by 10.55 per cent on a yearly basis, well above the government's year-end target, the Turkish Statistics Institute said on Tuesday.
The monthly hike was also above the average expected increase of 0.98 per cent established in a Central Bank survey of some 70 economists, bankers and business leaders last month. —AFP
