KARACHI, Oct 3: Six ships carrying, containers, crude oil and steel are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Wednesday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was light as only one ship, Maya Princess, to offload steel, was berthed after the departure of four.

The ships, which departed were led by Amasis, Zhe Hai-128, Getaldic and Wan Hai-315, while Dong He, Prima Veera, Hellas Endurance, Iran Tabatabaei and Fortune Spirit are due to sail out on Wednesday.

A total tonnage of 68,288 tons comprising 15,565 tons of export cargo and 52,723 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Wednesday: Johar, with 69,000 tons of crude oil, Hyundai Sprinter, Y.M. Mondego, Orient Independence, with containers, Ji Qing Men, with steel, and Patton-1, with general cargo.
