PESHAWAR, Oct 2: The Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-F will soon start preparing for the next general elections in the NWFP, according to its provincial chief Senator Maulana Gul Naseeb Khan.

Addressing a press conference here on Monday, he said that the party’s provincial executive council would meet in Peshawar on Nov 2 to discuss preparations for the general elections.

He said that as soon as the country-wide memebership drive ended, office-bearers in all 24 districts would start preparing for the election campaign.

He said that the party had chalked out a plan for the next general elections, adding that it had already been discussed by the party’s provincial cabinet meeting that was held here on Monday.

The meeting was held at the Chief Minister’s House and was attended by Chief Minsiter Akram Durrani and ministers belonging to the JUI-F.

He said that the NWFP government would soon present the Hasba Bill in the provincial assembly.
