QUETTA, Oct 1: The All-Balochistan Mobile Phone Dealers Association has said it will cooperate with the government in introducing the phone jamming mechanism to curb cellphone theft.
Speaking at a press conference at the press club here on Sunday, association president Mohammad Ismail Dawee said snatching of mobile phones had affected their business.
He urged the government to repair phone towers in the Saraib area because businessmen in the Hazarganji area were facing connection problems due to some technical fault in the towers.
Mr Dawee said people in Khuzdar and other interior areas of the province were facing problems due to low quality of mobile service. He regretted that the Pakistan Telecommunications Authority was ignoring complaints of people.
