QUETTA, Sept 25: Gastroenteritis has so far claimed four lives in Kalat, reports said here on Monday.
Besides, dozens of other people suffering from the disease have been admitted to the hospital.
Contaminated water might be the reason behind the gastroenteritis, inhabitants of the area said. If practical measures were not taken in this regard, the disease might turn into an epidemic, local people said. They have demanded of the government to send medical teams to these affected areas.—Online
