Soomro visits mazar in Sehwan

DADU, Sept 22: Acting President Mohammadmian Soomro during his visit to Sehwan Sharif on Friday offered fateha and laid floral wreaths on Mazar of Qalandar Lal Shahbaz.

He was accompanied by his mother Begum Saeeda Soomro and other family members.

Mr Soomro inspected work of Mazar including the Dhamal court.

The Jamshoro DCO briefed the acting president about works.

He directed the district administration to complete work of Mazar by December 2006.

He gave away Shahbaz awards to Jamshoro district naib nazim Hameed Buledi, EDO (revenue) Akbar Leghari, Hyderabad DIG Mazhar Nawaz Shaikh, EDO (health) and EDO roads for making good arrangements on occasion of 754th annual urs of Qalandar Lal Shahbaz.

THATTA: Acting President Mohammadmian Soomro has said that federal and Sindh governments will definitely complete the tenure.

Talking to reporters at the Makli circuit house on Friday afternoon, he said that he was visiting Thatta to seek information about recent heavy rains.

He said that during the visit he had received briefing on local issues and problems.

Replying to a question, Mr Soomro said that he was not aware of any patch up of the government with the PPP.

The acting president listened to elected representatives about problems and suggestions.
