Irshad bags double gold

KARACHI, Sept 14: Pakistan Navy marksmen got off to a brilliant start by grabbing five gold medals on the first day of Inter-Services shooting championship at Naval Shooting Range on Thursday.

International Irshad Ali took the gold in 50 meter pistol and Centre Fire Pistol.

Muhammad Siddique of Army claimed the gold in 10m air rifle and Rehan took the silver. Firdous Khan of Navy took the bronze.

Besides taking three individual gold medals, Navy shooters grabbed two team golds. At end of first day, Navy were leading with five gold, one silver and three bronze medals followed by Army who bagged two gold, six silver. PAF won four bronze.—APP
