Infrastructure development stressed

CHARSADDA, Sept 3: Federal Interior Minister Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao has stressed the need for developing the infrastructure for providing basic amenities to the people.

Speaking at a ceremony held on Saturday for inauguration of supply of natural gas at the Abazai village in the Tangi tehsil, Mr Sherpao said that the natural gas facility would soon be extended to other areas including Saidano Banda, Bacha Kallay and Zyarat Kallay.

He said that work on construction of Munda dam would begin soon, which would generate employment opportunities.

He announced that a Mohammadzai platoon would be created in the Frontier Constabulary which would provide jobs to hundreds of youth of the area.
