KARACHI, Sept 3: Residents of Mureed Goth, Pipri area of Bin Qasim Town, are facing serious problems due to overflow of gutters on streets for last three weeks.

A group of the residents told APP that as result of last showers, the sewerage lines got choked, flooding streets with sewage and making movement of the inhabitants very difficult.

The most prominent is lower portion of the main street behind the godown of Trading Corporation of Pakistan (TCP), which runs downward from National Highway. Besides shops and food stalls, The Citizen Foundation’s school with a large enrolment is situated on this street. The people, especially students and those coming to these shops, have to walk through pool of sewage, they said.

They said the situation remained same despite repeated complaints lodged with the concerned UC team including the Nazim.-—APP
