Beheaded bodies of ‘spies’ found

By Pazir Gul

MIRAMSHAH, Aug 30: Beheaded bodies of two alleged Afghan spies were found at different places near here on Wednesday, officials and witnesses said. They said that a hand-written chit was also found on the body dumped near Darpakhel, about one kilometre from the North Waziristan Agency headquarters, saying that it was a gift for Afghan President Hamid Karzai.

The chit warned that spies and informers would meet the same fate in future. The body was identified as that of Haq Nawaz, alias Dactar.

The beheaded body of Afghan cleric, Maulvi Noor Wali, was found in the Khadikhel area, 15 kilometres to the east of Miramshah. The head was found lying beside the body.

Pro-Taliban militants had declared that they would keep an eye on the activities of spies and informers at the time of announcing a conditional ceasefire in June.
