KARACHI, Aug 29: Four ships to load and offload containers, chemicals and diesel oil were berthed at QICT, EVT and Fotco Terminal during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, four more ships carrying containers, chemicals and furnace oil also arrived at the outer anchorage

Berths occupancy maintained at 90 per cent as 10 ships, Nedlloyd Muscat, MSC Camille, MoL Accord, Ocean Venture, Mar Blue, Ikan Selver, Chem Cosmos, Warbah, Frontier Express and Chemroad Wing, were busy in loading and unloading containers, rice, cement, diesel oil and chemicals.

A cargo volume of 80,284 tons comprising 55,760 tons of import and 24,524 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Sailing was active as MOL Accord, MSC Brianna and Chem Cosmos left the port while MSC Camille was due to depart.
