TOBA TEK SINGH,.Aug 20:.Police on Sunday recovered two girls from a Jhang village who were kidnapped nine days ago and were allegedly subjected to gang-rape and severe physical torture by five men.

The girls, A (13) and S (16), were reportedly kidnapped from Chak 515-GB, and were taken to Jhang by their abductors.

The police concerned did not register any case, which compelled the mother of the girls to file a petition before the district and sessions judge. The judge ordered registration of case and recovery of the girls.

Accordingly, Kamalia police raided a house in the village and recovered the girls, who told the police that they were gang-raped by five men during their abduction who also badly tortured them.

Police was conducting raids for the arrest of the accused.
