Three killed in Lahore

LAHORE, Aug 20: Three people were murdered in different parts of the city on Sunday.

Police said Amir Afzal, who ran a motorcycle showroom, was going to his home in the Factory Area when two unidentified motorcyclists opened fire on him. He was rushed to hospital where he died. The family said the deceased had an enmity with someone over business issue.

Shakila, 30, shifted to her brother’s house in Kasur after getting divorce from her second husband. Her brother Javed suspected that she had relations with a man of his locality. On Sunday, he shot her dead and bundled up the body in his car to dispose it of. Near Manga Mandi, his car broke down and he was arrested while trying to flee.

One Mushtaq of Manga Mandi was on his way home when an unidentified man opened fire on him, killing him on the spot. The family said he had no enmity.
