KARACHI: 68 vehicles, 103 mobile phones taken away

KARACHI, Aug 15: Around 68 vehicles and 103 cellphones were taken away in different parts of the city during the last two days. A total of 68 vehicles, including 16 cars and 52 motorcycles, were either snatched at gunpoint or stolen in different localities.

On Tuesday, a car was reported snatched at gunpoint and 10 were reported stolen from different parts of the city. Similarly, 11 motorcycles were reported snatched and six were reported stolen from different parts of the city.

On Monday, two cars were snatched at gunpoint and three were reported stolen. Similarly, staggering figure of 29 motorcycles was reported stolen and six were reported snatched on the Independence Day.

Out of total 103 mobile phones taken away during the last two days, 33 were snatched at gunpoint and 53 were stolen while 17 mobile sets were missing.
