Ambassador to Switzerland appointed
ISLAMABAD, Aug 6: The government on Sunday announced appointment of Ayesha Riyaz as Pakistan’s new ambassador to Switzerland.
Ms Riyaz, who has been serving as Minister at the Pakistan Embassy in Paris since October 2002, will replace ambassador Fauzia Abbas.
Previously, Ms Riaz has served in Pakistan’s diplomatic missions in Washington and Pretoria. A career diplomat, she joined the Foreign Service in October 1982.—Q. A.
