SUKKUR, Aug 3: A woman, Mithan, was shot dead by her husband on the pretext of karo-kari in the Mulla Bakhshan Kandrani village in the Sarhad police station area of Ghotki district on Thursday.
Mir Kandrani suspected that his wife was having illicit relation with some one else. On this, he shot her dead and fled.
Riaz, brother of the deceased woman, registered an FIR against his brother-in-law.
No arrest was reported till the filing of this report.
