By Our Correspondent

GUJRANWALA, Aug 3: Property tax survey has been started in Gujranwala and Kamoki while PT-3 and PT-4 forms are being provided to the people for depositing their invoices under self-assessment scheme.

This was stated by excise and taxation divisional director Sheikh Sikander Hayat while talking to this correspondent here on Thursday.

He said the survey would be for five years and it was being conducted in the two cities in the first phase.

He said all excise inspectors had been directed not to harass people during the survey rather help them for filing the forms.

ARRESTED: Baghbanpura police claimed on Thursday to have arrested two robbers during a brief `encounter’ and recovered looted goods and illicit arms from their possession.

Reports said accused Ziaullah and Bilal intercepted a passer-by, Muhammad Azam, on Circular Road and took away Rs16,000 and his cell phone at gunpoint. In the meantime, the police chased them and arrested them after an encounter.
