Gorchani tribe chief being quizzed
DERA GHAZI KHAN, July 28: The Gorchani tribe chief who was arrested the other day by law-enforcement agencies on the charge of his links with Nawab Akbar Bugti is being quizzed, according to police.
The agencies on Wednesday evening surrounded the residence of
Pervaiz Gorchani in block 18 and arrested him on the charge of his links with Akbar Bugti and other people wanted in several cases of heinous crime.
His son Sher Ali, who is union council nazim, told journalists that he was hopeful that his father would soon come back after necessary investigation.
It is pertinent to mention that Tuman Gorchani shares its border with the Bugti-dominated area in Balochistan.
According to police reports, kidnappers have always used the route which passes from Tuman Gorchani towards Bugti area in Balochistan. The Gorchani chief is alleged to be harbouring the most-wanted criminals like Mureeda Nukani.
