Kiran, Sama finish 5th in Asian rowing
KARACHI, July 25: Pakistan's Kiran Ikram and Sama Khawaja made a fine debut in the Asian Rowing Championship in Singapore by securing fifth position, said a news release issued on Tuesday. Appearing in the continental event for the first time, both Kiran and Sama from the Karachi Boat Club secured the position in the double scull competition. In the single scull, 14-year-old Kiran claimed sixth position.—APP
