LAHORE, July 25: The Pakistan Cycling Federation on Tuesday announced a 12-member team to take part in the 10th South Asian Games to be held in Colombo, Sri Lanka from Aug 18.

The team includes eight men and four women.

Otakar Josph Dolezel, a Canadian, who has been preparing the players at Islamabad, will accompany the team as coach.

Nusrat Khan (assistant coach) and Mohammad Yousuf (mechanic) are also part of the squad.

Meanwhile, PCF secretary Idris Haider Khawaja said the sport has been included for the first time in the games and therefore strength of other countries could not be estimated.

Team:

Men: Asif, Malik Mohammad Bashir, Shahzada Zahid Gulfam, Noor Alam, Dilsher Ali, Asif Ali, Haroon Rashid, Asmat Ali.

Women: Raheela Bano, Misbah Mushtaq Ali, Anila Ayub, Ayesha Amin.
