Two people, including Mohammad Bux Khushik and an unidentified person, were to be arrested by police in the case booked in the FIR which was lodged on the complaint of Umair Jumani, Naima’s elder brother.

Naima had recorded her statement under section 164 CrPC before the judge, testifying that she had been kidnapped on July 14 from her house by Jamshed Mallah, a resident of Abdullah Chawaro village near Jamshoro.

She claimed that she had been subjected to criminal assault by Jamshed.

According to Jamshed, he and his family tried to persuade Naima not to think in terms of marriage in such a manner but she insisted.

Jamshed said that they fell in love with each other seven to eight months back.

According to Jamshed’s brother, Nazeer Mallah, the family was trying to get him released on bail and then take legal step in connection with his marriage for which the girl had submitted her statement of free will before the civil judge and judicial magistrate-II.
