Match-winning spell by Fawad

KARACHI, July 14: Fawad Khan captured five wickets to spin Zone-VI Whites to a massive 194 runs victory over Zone-V Green in KCCA Inter-zonal under-15 cricket championship on Thursday.

Abdullah Shah struck eight fours in his 85 and Talha Khan hammered 77 with six boundaries and a six as Zone-VI Whites amassed 256 for four wickets in 50 overs.

Zone-V Green were shot out for 62 in 29.3 overs. Fawad finished with an outstanding figure of five wickets for 42 runs in nine overs.

Zone-V Whites registered a three-wicket victory over Zone-I Blues. Off-spinner Mohammad Wasim took four wickets for 43 runs for the winners.

In another match Zone-V Whites defeated Zone-III Blues by six wickets.

Zone-IV Whites 93-4 in 29 overs (Abdul Wasay 37, Kamran Khan 2-37, Ali Hasan 2-3).

Zone-V Whites bt Zone-I Blues by three wickets.

Zone-I Blues 143 all out in 47 overs (Ehsan Elahi 39, Haq Nawaz 31, M.Wasim 4-43 os, Junaid Taimuri 2-30)
