TOBA TEK SINGH, July 14: Two unidentified robbers were killed after about half-an-hour encounter with police near Chak 178-GB on Friday. Reports said that outlaws snatched the motorcycle from farmer Abdul Razzaq of Chak 155-GB when he was on way to his farmland. He reported the matter to the police. Reacting swiftly, police parties of Gojra Sadar and Moongi Bangla chased the bandits. Seeing police on their hunt, fleeing robbers opened fire on law enforcers. The police also returned the fire. After a shootout that lasted for some half-an-hour both the bandits were killed. Bodies have been kept at the Gojra THQ Hospital after autopsy.
