KARACHI, July 14: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Mohammad Ali Durrani has said the issue of the seventh wage board award for journalists and newspaper employees will be resolved soon.

He was replying to a question at a dinner he hosted for editors and senior journalists here on Friday.

The minister pointed out that a meeting was held recently with office-bearers of the All Pakistan Newspapers Society (APNS) in Islamabad and it proved to be ‘very positive’.

It was decided that APNS leaders would be invited by the government soon for another meeting.—APP
