PESHAWAR: Seoul to help set up arts institute

PESHAWAR, July 14: The Seoul University, Korea, will support establishment of an institute of arts and architecture in the historic Islamia College Peshawar (ICP) where modern technology will be used to impart education.

Prof Arshad Ali of the Seoul University briefed the Peshawar University’s acting Vice Chancellor Prof Ahmad Ali, ICP’s Principal Nisar Khan, proponent of the idea Prof Musarrat Hussain Shah, faculty and administrative staff of the university and the college here on Friday.

He said the institute would have studios, modern courses, enrichment activities, faculty-led research and other state-of-the-art facilities.
