They alleged that activists of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement were involved in the incident of firing.
Speaking at a news conference at the Hyderabad Press Club here on Monday, Mir Sher Mohammad Talpur and Qari Mushtaq Farooqui said it was regrettable that the coalition partners were harassing PML leaders in Latifabad.

Police said local PML leader Sami Sajid had claimed that Nafees and Ibrahim of the Muttahida had fired on him and Jamil Abbasi in front of the house of another PML leader, Tasneem Zohra. But Ibrahim claimed that Shahid alias Mota and Jamil Abbasi had fired on him.
A police source said Shahid and Ibrahim had exchanged hot words on telephone before the firing.
Later, PML leaders approached police to lodge an FIR, but the later refused to register the complaint.
A group of Leaguer activists and leaders criticised the refusal and staged a protest demonstration outside the press club, demanding removal of Latifabad police officials and condemning the alleged attack on Sami Sajid.
