KARACHI: 20 vehicles, 64 mobile phones taken away

KARACHI, July 1: As many as 84 people were robbed of their cellphones, cars or motorbikes by the bandits in various localities on Saturday.

Police sources said that 64 mobile phones were taken away by bandits. Of them, 37 cellphones were snatched at gunpoint and 27 others were stolen.

A total of 20 vehicles, including seven cars and 13 motorcycles, were taken away by bandits.

Police sources said that out of seven cars four were snatched at gunpoint while three were stolen. Of 13 motorcycles, eight were snatched at gunpoint and five motorcycles were stolen.

KILLED: A man was stabbed to death in Lyari on Saturday.

Police said that Abdul Waheed was intercepted by some persons in Khadda Market, Lyari, and stabbed him to death. Later, the body was shifted to a hospital for autopsy.
