3 militiamen die in blast

MIRAMSHAH, June 21: Three personnel of the Kurram Militia were killed and as many wounded when they were struck by a time device near Epi village on the Bannu-Miramshah road on Wednesday.

The personnel were deployed to the road to provide security cover to an army convoy going from Miramshah to Bannu.

They were patrolling when the time bomb planted on the road went off, witnesses said. The victims were identified as Ibrar Ali, Zakir Hussain and Shah Alam.
