Spanish winners get day off
KAMEN, June 15: Spain's players were rewarded with some extra free time after their crushing 4-0 victory over Ukraine in their opening match in the World Cup on Wednesday.
The squad went through a gentle recovery session on Thursday but were given the rest of the day off and time to meet up with their wives and girlfriends.
They do not need to report back for training until Friday afternoon.—Reuters
