LAHORE, June 13: The Pakistan Football Federation is holding a camp at the Railways Stadium as the Punjab Sports Department refused them to use Punjab Stadium. The camp is in progress with 48 probables to prepare a team for 14th Asian Cup qualifiers and 10th South Asian Games.

The PFF had made a request to the sports department to rent out the Punjab Stadium for one-week but the department refused them stating that some portion of the stadium was under construction.

The department had earlier refused the PFF to hold an U-14 national training camp in March.

As the Punjab Stadium is situated opposite to the PFF secretariat, the federation would be able to save transportation allowance given to the players, which is Rs6,000 per day.

The PFF had spent Rs90,000 on the transportation when the U-14 training camp was held.
