SAHIWAL, June 12: Harappa police have recovered a 13-year-old girl who has been abducted five months ago and arrested an alleged kidnapper. ‘B’, daughter of Lal Din of Chak 103/7-R, told judicial magistrate Javedul Hassan Chichti that On Jan 1, 2006, she had gone to a village shop for purchasing some essential commodities.

A woman, Bakhi, took her to her home where Gul Khair and Khaidu used to rape her for some days. One day she was taken to a prostitution den in Pakpattan.

She said 10 to 12 girls of her age were already there. She was forced to work as prostitute there. One day, she was again sold to one Razzaq for Rs75,000 who forced her to continue the profession of prostitution.

The girl said she came across a woman on June 9, asked her to contact her parents and the police recovered her and arrested Khaidu.
